Job opportunities to join the Pakistan army via the 155 PMA long course in 2024.Pakistan Army provides regular officer training through PMA Long Course.This course is conducted twice a year first in March and second in October.The previous course was 154 also known as Even Course and the next is 155 known as Odd Course scheduled in October.The total duration of this long course is two years and is divided into six semesters.

To join Pakistan Army through PMA Long Course,candidates who meet the nationality,gender,education,age and physical condition requirements can apply.
Nationality.
Candidates must be of Pakistani nationality.Residents from Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are accepted.In case of dual nationality,candidates must have renounced the other nationality at the time of selection.
Gender & marital status.
Only male candidates can apply for the 155-day PMA course to join the Pakistan Army. Candidates must be unmarried.However,candidates above 20 years of age who are married and serving in the Army are also eligible.
Age requirement & relaxation.
For applicants with intermediate or equivalent degree,the age limit is 17-22 years.However,a reduction of 3 months is allowed in both the upper and lower age limits.For 2-year graduates or those serving in PAF personnel or PIVs,the age limit should be 17-23 years with a reduction of 3 months in both the upper and lower age limits.For 4-year postgraduate programs like BS/BBA/BPA/BA (Hon),the age limit is 17-24 years.For active duty Army personnel,the age should be 17-25 years.
(Note:There is no age reduction for the last two categories.)
Physical & medical fitness.
candidates must qualify for the standard of height which is 5.4 inc″ weight is according to BMI ( Basic Mass Index).to join the Pak army 2024.
Education requirements for joining the Pakistan army 2024.
Basic training for cadets is multidisciplinary but requirements vary from course to course.For BMAS (Bachelor of Military Arts and Sciences),the minimum educational qualification is FA/FSc or equivalent with at least 55% marks.For TCC (Technical Cadet Course),the mandatory education is FSC Pre-Engineering or Computer Science (ICS) with at least 65% marks.
Relaxation in education.
For Pakistan Special Territories like Balochistan,Kohistan, Naran,Kaghan,FATA,Gilgit-Baltistan,Chitral,Neelum Valley,Dir,Talparkar,Umerkot,Cholistan,Ranjpur District, Derawar Fort,Mojgarh,Salasar etc.For Army Soldiers the requirement is also 50%.For Abitur the requirement is 60%.Equivalency Certificate from IBCC should also be provided.Candidates who are awaiting.their results can also be issued with FSc Part 1 Hope Certificate (duly attested by the Principal of the College).

Registration to join Pakistan Army can be done online or offline.OfflineRegistration:For this,you need to visit the nearby Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) with the required documents.Online Registration:The following steps are part of the online registration process for PMA 153 Long Course.
Visit the Pakistan Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk and click on the “Register” tab.On the first page,your personal details like name,father’s name, CNIC/FormB number,date of birth,examination centre, parents’occupation,address, religion,caste contact numbers and email address are required.Please fill this form carefully,otherwise it will not be processed further.
*If you have applied more than 3 times in 1st exam,3rd ISSB exam,you will not be eligible.Next,follow your education data,starting from Matura or O Levels.You will need to provide information about your institution,graduation year, study group (Science/Arts), grades,student number.
Details of your secondary education,etc.If you have another degree or diploma,you can add those too.Once you fill up the form,the registration process will be completed and you will be informed about the schedule of the next entrance exam at AS&RC.
